ecoMetabolic

About the product

ecoMetabolic is one of the most uniquely formulated supplement I have ever encountered online. It promises a lot of health benefits that are not just focused on weight loss and appetite management.

With broad-spectrum of metabolic support and health protection, this supplement is truly hard to resist. With botanical, amino acids, minerals and medicinal agents combined, can this dietary supplement truly worth the investment?

Read on and learn our verdict for this highly expensive diet pill brand.

What is ecoMetabolic?

ecoMetabolic is owned and distributed online by a company called ecoNugenics Inc.

This brand is formulated by Dr. Isaax Eliaz. An innovative blend of various herbs, minerals and amino acids, ecoMetabolic claims that it can deliver powerful protection and support for your metabolic health and glucose balance.

Some of its health claims include:

  • Promotes healthy glucose and cholesterol levels
  • Helps maintain healthy metabolic function
  • Helps reduce sugar cravings

ecoMetabolic Features

According to ecoNugenics, ecoMetabolic works by affecting multiple mechanisms that will improve healthy metabolic function, reduce sugar cravings, maintains glucose balance and promote healthy cholesterol levels.

This brand though is lacking in customer testimonials, which is probably due to the company’s poor marketing strategy. There are literally few product review sites that offer detailed information about this brand. Good thing that ecoNugenics provided enough details about ecoMetabolic on its official page.

ecoMetabolic Ingredients

Most products that contains Ayurvedic and Chinese herbs are commonly found in slimming teas, though there are some diet pills that also contain similar agents such as Herb Theory and Lean Optimizer.

But ecoMetabolic is totally different as it is composed mainly of herbs that are uncommon in most dietary supplements.

First, this supplement feature 3 blends and additional ingredients in amino acids and minerals. These blends are Glucose Balancing, Berberine Complex and Chinese Botanical Metabolic Support Blends.

Glucose Balancing Blend – 450mg

Glucose Balancing Blend contains gymnema leaf, cinnamon bark, fenugreek seed, amla fruit, holy basil leaf and jambolan seed.

Can these herbs help balance your glucose levels? Well, there are interesting facts about these ingredients that actually provides the aforementioned health benefit.

For example, a study by http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2259216 suggest that gymnema sylvestre can indeed help reduce the amount of insulin needed by individuals with diabetes condition on insulin therapy.

There are also reports that gymnema supports weight loss and lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. The dosage of ecoMetabolic is however questionable as the whole blend only offers 450mg per serving (gymnema’s suggested dose is already 400mg per day).

On the other hand, cinnamon bark is known to help prevent premature ejaculation, regulates diarrhea, spasms and many others.

Cinnamon bark contains chemicals that might work like insulin, to help lower blood sugar levels. This health claim however, is not completely supported by clinical trials.

Fenugreek is another popular agent in ecoMetabolic. This extract is known to help enhance libido as it triggers testosterone hormone increase. It is also a well-known anti-diabetic herb as it helps reduce the levels of blood glucose.

The problem is, you need two to give grams of fenugreek per day in order to help regulate your blood glucose levels.

Amla fruit is a known diabetes and cholesterol buster. Plus, this fruit is packed with high antioxidants that can help strengthen your immune system.

Holy basil leaf extract is known to help treat asthma, anxiety, stress, headache and many others. Though believed to have anti-diabetes properties, there are not enough clinical studies to support its blood sugar-lowering health claims.

Lastly for Glucose Balance Blend, ecoMetabolic contains jambolan seed extract. This extract is used to make medicines for diebetes, digestion orders, bowel spasms, diarrhea, asthma and many others. However, there are not enough evidence that this extract can truly help improve blood sugar levels.

Berberine Complex Blend -362mg

Berberine is a powerful alkaloid found in barberry, goldenseal, oregon grape, goldthread, phellodendron and many others. This safe extract is known to provide dozens of health benefits including enhancements of metabolic function, cholesterol balance and supports healthy glucose levels.

According to WebMD, berberine is proven effective in reducing blood sugar levels in people with diabetes, and can effectively lower cholesterol levels.

Though proven effective for its health claims, the berberine dose of ecoMetabolic is only 362mg per serving, which is way short of the daily recommended amount of 500mg per serving.

Chinese Botanical Metabolic Support – 200mg

This blend is composed of poria sclerotium, Chinese yam root, anemarrhena rhizome, astralagus root and American ginseng root extract.

Poria sclerotium or more known as poria mushroom, studies suggest that it can help improve kidney function, lower serum cholesterol, reduce inflammation and suppress immune function. It might also feature anti-tumor and anti-vomiting effects.

Chinese yam is a herbal medicine that is commonly used in China for stomach, spleen, lungs and kidney disorder treatments.

Anemarrhena rhizome or zhi mu in Chinese medicine, is a plant extract that is known for various health-enhancing properties such as anti-inflammatory, anti-platelet, anti-diabetic and anti-cancer. It is also believed to help improve learning and memory function.

Lastly, ecoMetabolic contains astragalus, a widely known Chinese medicinal herb for centuries. This herb is best known in boosting your body’s immune system. It also has been used to help treat heart disease and other conditions.

Other Ingredients of ecoMetabolic include milk thistle, chromium, zinc, bioperine (black pepper extract), alpha lipoic acid and amino acid L-Taurine. Its inactive ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable capsule, water, rice flour and silicon dioxide.
